T5.4: Qualification of L/S band POI based SAW filters [M21-M30]

The objective of this task is performing the qualification of the L/S band POI based SAW filters under design in WP2 once the samples have been manufactured and assembled in the selected package variant (either non-hermetic or hermetic). Two different specifications will be considered, one for the coming 5G direct connectivity satellite S band applications and another one for a generic GPS filter in L band. Both devices will be qualified according to the specifications consolidated in task T1.2. The results of the qualification together with the tests performed in WP4 on the different demonstrators will validate the use of POI based SAW filter up to TRL 7. The performed qualification activities will follow the existing specification for SAW filters (ESCC 3502) where adjustments will be performed to specifically address the particularities of POI based filters and the selected package as outcomes of task T5.3. ALT will be responsible of the execution of the qualification activities and while TAS and SOI will be supporting the activities if any deviation needs to be addressed.
