T3.6: Benchmarking and (transfer to industry) [M24-M36]

Different substrates will be extensively benchmarked between them and wrt “reference” (current POI structure). Benchmarking will cover not only their linearity and losses performance (T3.2), but also temperature sensitivity (T3.3), power handling (T3.4) and radiation hardness (T3.3 or WP5). As mentioned above, the same test vehicle and extensive characterization approach (developed in T3.1 and used for test vehicles produced in WP2) will be used for the all the reference and alternative POI substrates allowing for a fair benchmarking. After validation and optimization of alternative substrates (in terms of architecture and process steps) at UCL, these will be transferred to the process flow on the sites of industrial partners (SOI).
