T1.3: Advanced POI based SAW filter and disruptive TX/RX active antenna front-end module specifications [M2-M4]
The objective of this task is to consolidate the specifications of S band POI based advanced SAW filters and disruptive TX/RX active antenna module thanks to the trade-offs conducted into T1.1. More precisely the consolidation of the specification is described below:- Disruptive S band TX/RX active antenna module: The specification will cover the whole module from input LNA and output HPA, input/output SAW filter, coupler/combiner up/down to innovative compact radiating element. Active antenna architecture specification will also be derived since the SAW filter high compactness allows for fully integrated tile antenna architecture.
- S band RX filter: Based on 5G direct connectivity satellite disruptive TX/RX active antenna module specification,
- SAW filter based on advanced topology and technology will be specified with focus on insertion loss into the required bandwidth.
- S band TX filter: Based on 5G direct connectivity satellite disruptive TX/RX active antenna module specification, SAW filter based on advanced topology and technology will be specified with focus on both RF power handling capability and insertion loss into the required bandwidth.
